De la pertenencia a la tierra a la propiedad de la tierra: el caso de los Wichi de Pi' Wet (Gral. Mosconi, Salta)

RESUMEN
Nuestra contribución presenta un análisis preliminar de la compleja coyuntura judicial de los reclamos de propiedad de la tierra por parte de la comunidad indígena denominada "Misión Wichí-Mataco General Mosconi, en el Departamento General San Martín de la Provincia de Salta. El juicio, iniciado hace más de una década, permite considerar desde la etnicidad la transición del proceso de pertenencia a la tierra hacia el de propiedad de la tierra. Pero además, los elementos constitutivos de la historia misma del juicio, permiten vincular el testimonio de la comunidad y su protagonismo en la larga lucha emprendida por la tierra y la construcción de su propia memoria histórica.

From belonging to the land to owning it: the case of Mosconi Wichi community

This work presents the complex judicial situation that arises from the claims to land property of the indigenous comunity Mision Wichi-Mataco General Mosconi, in General San Martin Department, Province of Salta. The trial, that started more than a decade ago, permits to consider the transition from belonging to the land to owning it from the perspective of the ethnicity. Furthermore, the constitutive elements of the trial history permit to link the community testimony and its role in the prolonged truggle for the land to the construction of the wichi's own historical memory.
